Card4U MCP Server

Create and preview postcard drafts in a compatible AI assistant. After reviewing a draft, you can authorize a paid order to print and mail the postcard.

Connect your assistant

  1. In an MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers, add this server URL:

    https://card4u.org/mcp

  2. When prompted, connect your Card4U account with OAuth to check your balance and send postcards.

  3. Ask the assistant to create a draft and show its preview before placing an order.

The URL is an MCP endpoint for clients, not a page to open in a browser. Setup labels vary between clients.

Postcard workflow

  1. Create a draft. Provide a message, recipient address, and optionally an image or PDF. You can create a draft without connecting an account.
  2. Review the result. Open the returned preview link and check the design, address warnings, and estimated price. Address checks are formatting hints, not delivery verification.
  3. Send when ready. Connect your Card4U account, check your balance, and explicitly confirm the paid order. Card4U then prints and mails the postcard.

The message and recipient address are printed on the back. Keep them out of the front artwork to avoid printing them twice.

Good to know

  • Guest drafts return a link for viewing or claiming them. Sending requires an OAuth-connected Card4U account.
  • The MCP server sends individual postcards. Manage bulk campaigns in the web editor.
  • Artwork can be supplied as an image or a one- or two-page PDF. See the print specifications for dimensions and bleed. Print specifications.
  • The MCP connection uses OAuth. For direct software integration with an API token, see the REST API documentation in your Card4U profile. Open profile.
